These tracks are still here. There's still a station stop here at Lisle. This car is probably still in service though re-habbed once or twice. This E8 has been long retired. Metra runs the commuter service here now but the trains are a lot longer and service is more frequent. This is the old Q racetrack, now operated by the BNSF.

i used to do model railroading... still have some of the stuff around here... but it was very unsatisfying.... no run was long enough on any size layout.

I know how that is. I don't at the moment have a layout due to space concerns... but my California Zephyr is about 14 feet long when all coupled together, I don't know of many layouts that can handle that!

It's funny how paranoid I am now after being stopped by a Federal Marshal in Downtown Pittsburgh shooting a photo of Penn Station and I was standing on a public sidewalk.
