Wreck at Deval IIIby ~classictrains

Soo GP30 #703, built by EMD but riding on trade-in Alco trucks, treads lightly across the NorthWesterm diamond after the recent wreck was pushed to the side and the roadbed was repaired.

I've always liked the look of Geep 30's, GM&O Blackbirds, ICG Orange and White are what I remember most around here.

I have already put up a couple of GM&O black (see my Journal). I never got a shot of ICG Orange and White on the lead unit.

I never got one in orange and white on the point either, although I think I might have caught a Geep 30 in the newer IC around 10 years ago, #2250 btw, from what I understand it was the last GM&O "30" left on the roster at that time.

GM&O also had the same kind of trucks.
