It's been awhile since I put anything "new" up. Life's been kinda busy... lol. It's been snowing non-stop here outside Chicago for two days and I wanted to do something different for a little while.
I picked this shot randomly out of the archives for lots of reasons. I know a few of my watchers like F-units... I do too... I've been watching the old C&NW mainline near here with great boredom... Armour Yellow just isn't the same...
This shot was taken late on a cool March afternoon in front of the Proviso Shops. In spite of the dirty and dilapidated appearance this unit was still alive.

These old F-units are so cool. I bet this engine would have a lots of stories to tell.
