Description

In this age of rebuilt leased units it's sometimes amazing to discover how far some have traveled.  This SD-50 is being used on the Illinois RailNet to haul trains of silica sand for fracking from the Ottawa, IL area to the BNSF (nee's CB&Q) Eola yard.  It's tagged for the Hudson Bay Railway in Canada but in its previous history this once was a C&NW unit traversing rails just a few miles from where it is today.
