This GP9 started out life as #2379 and was later rebuilt to GP20m #974 similar to Cadillac & Lake City #994. Here it is tied up at the old Elgin freight house with a rather unconventional Milwaukee Road caboose. Commonly they were rib-sided and bay windowed as shot by Amy at [link] and Robert at [link]
