Somewhere in Northern Indiana, Grand Trunk Pacific #5629 came down "lame." The slide bearing went dry and overheated. Fortunately they caught it before any damage was done and we made it home.... late as usual.

Oh I did so want to give this a humorous title...

Great photo! This has a timeless quality, it could have taken place anytime during the steam era. I love it when the crew dresses in a timeless manner, it really adds to the photo! Nothing ruins a classic shot like this more than an adjustable baseball cap.

Thanks Don! Of course I don't think there was such a thing as an adjustable baseball cap in 1967.... or designer jeans :-)
