Restored Interurban

The Chicago, Aurora and Elgin (a.k.a., the Roarin' Elgin) folded in the late 50's and I have only one B&W picture of it's final days. Curiously enough one of it's cars was saved and restored and runs today on a mile or so of old CA&E tackage in South Elgin, Illinois. A lot of TLC went into this restoration of car, tracks, wire and electric plant. This picture from 1968 could be reshot this summer on digital.... hmmmm... now there's an idea.
