50 years ago the Chicago, Aurora & Elgin interurban line was being torn up and the cars mostly scrapped. A few were saved and lovingly restored including #316 and this one in the barn this morning at the Fox River Trolley Museum.

Very nice, I always love to see some being kept in working order, the more the better :)

I don't know whether you've seen it, but I've also managed to catch something quite classic yesterday: [link] Might even be older than this fella, though I don't know when these interurban cars were built. But guessing always works :D

Hey, shenanigan87 checked the museum website and she was built by Jewett Car Co. 1913. Nice shot Chris, I've always been a "Juice" fan, I think the Niles, Jewett and St.L Car types are my favorite.
