Some days you get lucky. I haven't looked in this box of slides in YEARS!

This is a Chicago, Burlington & Quincy (the "Q") General Motors FT.... the first generation of a long series of F and E-units manufactured through the 1940's and 1950's. I "found" this one behind the shops at West Burlington, Iowa while on a steam fan trip behind 4-8-4 #5632.

This photo was taken on Perutz film which has not stood up to time well.
