Faux Warbonnet

It just wasn't the same... as F-unit maintenance became too expense the Santa Fe kept it's varnish running with a variety of trial (and error) new locomotives. I've posted a couple of other shots of U28CG's before ([link] and [link]) but this shot makes it clear it's just not the same. The yellow and black stripes are gone and it just looks like a trio of freight engines sent in to rescue what should have been pulling this string of shiny Budd stainless steel.
