Description

The Union Pacific's quest for high horsepower led it in all kinds of directions... this included several variations of gas turbines from GE. Coming down off Sherman Hill this train enters the Cheyenne, Wyoming yard limits in the summer of 1968. The trailing unit is another curiosity... a GP30 B-unit.
